I’m really excited about this upcoming weekend! During the end of the spring semester my student government organizes a music concert a few weeks before we start to break down during finals.
It’s that time of year again and Hunter College proudly welcomes Nas.
For the price of $10 (with your Hunter student ID) you can see Nas this Friday, May 1. Don’t worry, the show is not exclusively for Hunter students (so join me).
The music doesn’t stop Friday, this whole weekend is loaded with what we crave! This weekend is the highly anticipated Bamboozle Music Festival. Now I understand this requires you to leave our beloved New York, but the trip to New Jersey isn’t too bad. Plus for over 50 of the hottest bands over the course of two days, the trip is totally worth it. So if you’re thinking about staying home this weekend or settling for music videos on MTV, erase that from your game plan and join me for a weekend of excitement.
Guilty Pleasure of the Week: Asleep In The Bread Aisle, Asher Roth (They will be performing Day 1 at Bamboozle.)
